  1. A nonprofit first registers at the site and completes a brief profile of the organization.
  2. Once registered, the nonprofit may login and complete a project starter form.
  3. Projects are posted at ProBonoLink.org for thirty days.
  4. Projects are also blast e-mailed regularly to local marketing and communications experts.
  5. A nonprofit may receive e-mails from marketing and communications experts who are interested in discussing a project and volunteering help.
  6. It is up to the nonprofit to contact interested marketing and communications volunteers, discuss the project, make a selection, and move forward with the work.

FOR MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANTS

  1. A marketing and communication expert (professional or student) may receive e-mails listing available projects.
  2. Or a marketing and communications expert may review details of available projects and nonprofit profiles online.
  3. An expert who is interested in possibly volunteering for a particular project must first register at the site and complete a brief profile before contacting the nonprofit.
  4. Once registered, the expert e-mails the nonprofit of his/her interest in discussing and volunteering for the project.
  5. It is up to the nonprofit to contact the expert volunteer and discuss the possibility of moving ahead with the project.
