- Once registered, the nonprofit may login and complete a project starter form.
- Projects are posted at ProBonoLink.org for thirty days.
- Projects are also blast e-mailed regularly to local marketing and communications experts.
- A nonprofit may receive e-mails from marketing and communications experts who are interested in discussing a project and volunteering help.
- It is up to the nonprofit to contact interested marketing and communications volunteers, discuss the project, make a selection, and move forward with the work.
FOR MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANTS
- A marketing and communication expert (professional or student) may receive e-mails listing available projects.
- Or a marketing and communications expert may review details of available projects and nonprofit profiles online.
- An expert who is interested in possibly volunteering for a particular project must first register at the site and complete a brief
profile before contacting the nonprofit.
- Once registered, the expert e-mails the nonprofit of his/her interest in discussing and volunteering for the project.
- It is up to the nonprofit to contact the expert volunteer and discuss the possibility of moving ahead with the project.
